Creating a Quick Assign

The Quick Assign feature allows you to assign labor hours by labor type to your technician or team.

To create a Quick Assign from the Workfiles view

1. Click View > Workfiles from the menu bar. The Search workfiles screen opens.
2. Click the Views option from the Workfiles search criteria panel, and then click All under Open Repair Orders. Workfiles that match the search criteria appear in the Search Results pane.
3. Click on a repair order, and then click Action > Quick Assign from the mini-toolbar. The Quick Assign Labor screen opens.
4. Click Assign for the labor type, and then select the employee or team from the Employee Team droplist.
5. Click on the Assign% droplist, and then click on the percentage value of the hours to assign.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for additional labor types you want to assign.
7. Click OK. The information is saved and the Quick Assign Labor window closes.
